In the boxing stage, the gripper head also adjusts in synchronized coordination: as soon as the carton size changes, the robotic arm instantly adapts to the new packing path and arrangement, removing the need for manual recalibration. The palletizing robot is even smarter—when the box type shifts, the stacking pattern switches automatically: larger boxes are stacked in fewer layers, while smaller boxes allow for more layers, with the system calculating everything on its own, so there’s no need for operators to manually sketch it out on paper.
The day Old Sun finished commissioning his equipment, I deliberately had the workers cycle through three different box sizes—first the earphone boxes, then the charging‑adapter boxes, and finally the e‑cigarette boxes.
